Tax is collected on the advertiser’s side and remitted; it is never part of the owner’s payout. Signperch keeps CA$318.60 on this booking.
The small print
Things worth knowing up front.
- Is there a minimum booking value?
- Yes — CA$20. Below that, card processing costs more than the booking is worth to anyone.
- When exactly am I charged?
- On instant-book listings, immediately. Otherwise your card is authorised and only captured when the owner accepts. An unanswered request releases the hold after 72 hours.
- Do fees change?
- We can change them on 30 days’ notice, and a change never affects a booking already confirmed.
- What about chargebacks?
- Bookings settle through the owner’s connected Stripe account, so disputes are handled there. See the Terms for the full position.

It costs nothing to put a space up, and you are not committed until you accept a booking.
